Andrew B. Wilson, President/CEO & Co-founder
Andrew co-founded SpectraWatt and has been the company's CEO since it was spun out of Intel Corporation in June 2008. Prior to SpectraWatt, Andrew was at Intel Corporation for 11 years in operations, finance and general management roles. Prior to Intel, he held positions in sales and in the electric utility industry. Andrew has an MBA from the University of Washington and a BA from Tufts University.
Richard Haug, Chief Operating Officer
Rick is responsible for SpectraWatt's manufacturing and technology development operations. He brings over 30 years of experience in factory management including startup, ramp-up and full scale production, with leadership roles in Organic LED and micro-laser manufacturing. Rick has extensive start-up experience including 13 years as a key member of eMagin's management from its beginnings through its IPO. Prior to SpectraWatt, Rick was the VP Operations at Bin Optics Corporation and has also held positions at Harris Electronics, GE and Texas Instruments. Rick has an MBA from Duke University.
Eric Johnson, VP Finance & Co-founder
Eric co-founded SpectraWatt and was instrumental in the spin out from Intel. Eric manages the company's finances, IT and human resource activities. Prior to SpectraWatt, he was at Intel Corporation for nine years in various supply and financial management roles. Before joining Intel, Eric held roles as an environmental chemist. Eric has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS from the University of Massachusetts.
David O'Connor, VP, Business Development
Dave is responsible for strategic partnerships, marketing and government relations activities at SpectraWatt and brings over 17 years of experience in the electronics industry. Prior to SpectraWatt, Dave worked for 11 years at Intel Corporation in business development, finance and manufacturing capacity planning roles. Prior to Intel, he held operations management and account management positions in the electronics industry. Dave has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS from Cornell University.
Dr. Juanita Kurtin, Director of R&D
Juanita is responsible for architecting SpectraWatt's next generation innovative cell architecture and process. Prior to SpectraWatt, she was involved with Technology Development using optical proximity correction models for advanced lithography, and with Research and Development working on carbon nanotubes as a channel replacement material and novel photovoltaic devices for energy harvesting at Intel Corporation. Juanita has multiple issued and pending patents as well as published articles in journals such as the Journal of Physical Chemistry and IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices. Juanita has a PhD in Physical Chemistry from University of California at Berkeley and a BS in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
